FRANK D. REAGOSO, JR.

Frank Reagoso is President of Inns of Distinction, Inc. which he founded in 1984, and has a 30-year career in hotel management. Since founding Inns of Distinction, Reagoso has used his extensive experience to ensure that the properties it manages are distinctive places to stay that are welcoming and well run. At the same time he has sought wherever feasible to find operating efficiencies and improve revenues.

Reagoso oversaw the completion of the feasibility study on the Grand Eastonian Hotel and Suites prior to the conversion to a hotel. He made clear at the time that the property was not expected to be profitable as a hotel due to the occupancy limitations, but that it could be made self-sustaining. He has been a great supporter of the project since and testified passionately in favor of it before County officials.

Prior to founding Inns of Distinction, Reagoso served as General Manager of seven successful hotels ranging in size from 140 rooms to 770 rooms. Five of these properties were leading Sheraton Hotel franchises owned and operated by OMNI Hotels, Inc. His primary concentration was financial turnarounds of existing properties and opening and stabilizing new hotels. In these positions, he achieved successful results, evidenced by dramatic turnarounds.

Reagoso has also served as Vice President of hotel operations, acquisitions and development for several major investment firms in the Delaware Valley, and was responsible for managing the Valley Forge Hilton, the Holiday Inn on City Avenue in Philadelphia, the Holiday Inn in King of Prussia, Pa., as well as the development of the Holiday Inn at JFK Airport in New York. He has also served as Regional Sales Manager for Pennsylvania with ITT Sheraton Corporation and taught college level Hotel Marketing in Massachusetts.

A United States Navy veteran and Philadelphia native. Frank graduated in 1973 from St. Joseph’s University.
